Lifestyle, Computer Workshops and Tutorials

The library service offers  Lifestyle and Technology based workshops, recently we conducted illustration and cartooning workshops throughout the region. We've conducted Introduction to Computers, Internet, Email, Ebay, and Office Suite Workshops; many people enjoyed the introduction to digital camera workshops and participated in the Broadband for Seniors programme.  Lifestyle courses such as cyber-safety, family history research and arts and crafts are always popular.

You can access a range of computer tutorials that cover many topics such as; iPad2 Basics, iCloud, Internet Safety for Kids, Office Web Apps, Math Skills, Resume Writing, Microsoft Office, Interview Skills, Blogging, Twitter, Facebook and Skype - and many others.  Just click here to begin... 

These sessions are run as special events during the year and will be advertised locally and via our website events calendar, and with posters and flyers in our branches.  Bookings are usually required for these programs.
